Our History
Tandem Inc. was founded in 1985 in the Vail Valley when Beaver Creek Resort existed mainly on paper, and landmark communities like Cordillera and Mountain Star were considered risky businesses. Tandem has worked with some of the world’s most exclusive real estate, working with some of the resort industry’s most accomplished developers.
At various points in their careers, Tandem’s principals and partners have worked for companies like Intrawest, IMI Resorts, Playground, Communiqué, and Milesbrand where they became experts in envisioning, branding, pre-sales, and launch marketing techniques. Each has pioneered and innovated along the way, breaking records, winning awards, and acquiring invaluable experience.

Performance Based Compensation
It has long been our discipline to establish performance criteria with our clients before we begin our work. This gives the development team a common measuring stick for evaluating the merits of proposed marketing and sales strategies, as well as creative concepts and campaigns that will be developed during the scope of the project. We’ve found that establishing performance criteria “raises the bar,” builds consensus, and encourages a smooth and timely approval process.
Qualified clients may opt to work with Tandem under our Performance Based Compensation Program, which is structured to provide you with specified goods and services at cost in return for a share in the profits based on mutually agreed upon performance criteria.
